CARICOM, at the origin of the Caribbean Community and Common Market, was created by the Treaty of Chaguaramas, which entered into force on 1 August 1973. The first four signatories were Barbados, Jamaica, Guyana and Trinidad and Tobago. Caricom replaced the Caribbean Free Trade Association (CARIFTA) from 1965 to 1972, which was to establish a continuous economic link between the English-speaking Caribbean countries after the dissolution of the Federation of the West Indies, which lasted from 3 January 1958 to 31 May 1962. The first official performance of Celebrating CARICOM by Henderson took place on Tuesday, 1 July 2014 at the opening ceremony of the thirty-fifth regional meeting of the Conference of Heads of Government in Antigua and Barbuda.  Caricom currently has 15 full members, 5 associate members and 8 observers. Vincent and the Grenadines, Bahamas, Barbados, Guyana, Jamaica, Suriname, Trinidad and Tobago. A second article titled My CARICOM came from Jamaican Adiel Thomas, who won 5,000 $US, and a third song titled One CARICOM by Carmella Lawrence of St. Kitts and Nevis, won 2,500 $US.
